On June 28th, 2011, Miller-Cerasuolo represented a client in the Wythe General District Court in Wytheville, VA. The client, a Virginia resident, was driving South on I-81 when she was pulled over in Wythe County for Speeding 84 mph in a 70 mph zone. The Officer did not charge her with a minor Speeding Infraction. Since she was driving over 80 mph, the Officer charged her with Reckless Driving by Speed- a Class 1 Misdemeanor, a Criminal Offense, Virginia Code Section: A.46.2-862. The client retained our services after a no-obligation phone consultation and did not have to attend Court as our Attorney could appear on her behalf. In Court, the Attorney was able to negotiate a plea bargain with the Judge and got the Reckless Driving charge reduced to a non-moving violation, which carries zero demerit points. The client owed minimal fines and Court costs.
