In July of 2011, Miller-Cerasuolo represented a client in the Henrico General District Court in Henrico, VA. The client, a Virginia resident, was driving in Henrico County we he encountered a stopped school bus. The client did not notice the stopped bus and he continued on his way. A week later he was issued a summons by Henrico County, he was charged with Reckless Driving, Failure to stop for a school bus, Virginia Code Section: A.46.2-859 – a Class 1 Misdemeanor. The client retained our services after a no-obligation phone consultation with our Attorney. In Court, our Attorney was able to negotiate a plea bargain with the Judge, allowing the Reckless Driving charge to be reduced to Improper Driving, a lesser charge with fewer demerit points. The client owed minimal fines and Court costs.
