In April of 2011, Miller-Cerasuolo represented a client in the Hanover Circuit Court in Hanover, VA. In December, the client, a Virginia resident, was driving down I-95 when he was pulled over for traveling 83 mph in a 70 mph zone. The Officer charged him with Reckless Driving by Speed, Virginia Code Section: A.46.2-862- a Class 1 Misdemeanor. In February, the client missed his original Court date and the Judge found him Guilty of Reckless Driving in the Hanover General District Court. A few days later, he retained our services after a no-obligation phone consultation with our Attorney and our office appealed his case. In Circuit Court, our Attorney was able to negotiate a plea bargain with the Judge, allowing the client to attend a driving improvement course. In exchange, the Reckless Driving charge was completely dismissed and the client owed minimal Court costs.
